What is Malnutrition?
Malnutrition occurs when your dietary intake is insufficient to meet your body’s daily protein and energy needs. This results in a gradual reduction in both lean body mass and body fat. This imbalance leads to a loss of muscle and weight.

What are the consequences of malnutrition?
Malnutrition leads to weight and muscle loss. Your body becomes more fragile, which can have various health consequences. You may feel more fatigued and experience a sense of weakness. Your immune system also becomes more vulnerable to infections.
