Ingredients

  • 150 ml of Resource® ULTRA® Chocolate
  • 50 ml of Resource® ULTRA® Coffee
  • 1 tbsp. of rapeseed oil
  • 240 g of sliced venison
  • 80 g of onions
  • 1 tsp. of flour
  • 120 ml of broth
  • 2 pinches of salt
  • 2 pinches of pepper
  • Rosemary
  • Thyme
  • 4 tbsp. of whipped double cr
  • 240 g of spätzle

Preparation

  • 1.  Cut the onions into thin strips.
  • 2.  Heat the rapeseed oil in the pan and sauté the onions.
  • 3.  Add the venison strips and sear them over high heat, then sprinkle with flour.
  • 4.  Deglaze with the broth and cook for 8 to 10 minutes until tender.
  • 5.  Stir in Resource® ULTRA® Chocolate / Coffee and season with salt and pepper. Add finely chopped herbs.
  • 6.  Stir in the double cream before serving.

Tips
It is also possible to use beef or lamb instead of venison.

Presentation
Serve the sliced venison with fried spätzle and garnish with sprigs of thyme and rosemary.
